Who is Mufti Farooq Attari?

Mufti-e-Dawat-e-islami, Alhaj Hafiz-o-Qari Allama Maulana Mufti Muhammad Farooq Attari (Rahma-tulah-Al'eih) was born on 26 August 1976 in the Holy Islamic Month of Rajab-ul-Murajjub at Larkana, Karachi, Pakistan.
(The name of the town 'Larkana' has now been changed after the demise of Mufti Farooq Sahib (Alayhi Rahmah) by his Beloved Sheikh, Ameer-e-AhleSunnat, Founder of Dawat-e-Islami, Hazrat-e-Allama Maulana Abu-Bilaal Mohammad Ilyaas ATTAR Qadiri Razavi Ziaa'iy to 'Farooq Nagr').

The Great Mufti (Islamic Jurist) of Dawateislami, Al-Hajj Al-Hafiz-o-Qari Mufti Muhammad Farooq Attari (Rahma-tulahi-Ta'aala-Aleih)'s Holy Shrine (Mazzaar Shareef) buriel place is with the Famous & Greatest Naat Khwaan of his time, who was also Dawat-e-Islami's Markazi Majlis-e-Shurah Nigraan, Bulbul-e-Baag-e-Rauza-e-Rasool (Sallalahualayhiwasallam) Al-Hajj Qari Muhammad Mushtaq Qadiri Attari (Rehmatullah-Ta'aalla-Al'eyh), which is at Sehra-e-Madina, Babul Madina, Karachi. This ground is the place where the Annual Provincial (Babul-Islam) Congregation of Dawat-e-islami is held.

This person, Who knew that this yesterday's laborer and an Imam of a tiny mosque would be todays, the founder and the leader of the most popular Islamic Movement in the world 'Dawat-e-Islami'.

He started this movement of Propagating the Holy Quran and Sunnah in 1980 and now he is one of the most influential personalities in the saint's history.

******---Early Life---******
Ameer-e-AhleSunnat, Hazrat-e-Allama Moulana
Abu Bilal Muhammad Ilyas ATTAR Qadiri (Maddazilla hul' Aali') was born in a Village called Kutyana, India in the 1950s. His father was Abdul Rahman (Rahmatullah alayh) who was a very pious and religious person. Ameer-e-AhleSunnat(Maddazilla hul' Aaliy')'s father migrated to Sindh, Pakistan when many Muslims were facing trouble in India. They stayed for a little while in Sindh and then moved to Karachi.

Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnat (Maddazilla hul' Aaliy')'s father Abdul Rahman went on the Holy Pilgrimage Hajj and he Abdul Rahman (Rahmatullah alayh) passed away whilst on the pilgrimage. Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnat (Maddazilla hul' Aaliy') was only an infant when his father passed away. Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnat (Maddazilla hul' Aaliy') had a brother called Abdul Ghani. Abdul Ghani helped Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnat through out his youth, however Abdul Ghani passed away in a train accident. A short while after Abdul Ghani's death Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnat's mother passed away. Many of these tradgies affected Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnat very much. He expressed his greiviance in poetry.

'The clouds of grief took over, heart is restless Ya Rasool Allah
You are the cure of my grief Ya Rasool Allah

I was little, father died, brother passed away when I was young
Didn't even see the joys, mother died Ya Rasool Allah

Say to the wind of dawn, it move the grief of heart
The night of grief, become the morning of spring Ya Rasool Allah

Because of the turnado, the ship is shaken take care
I'm going to drown, o my soul Ya Rasool Allah.'
(This is More or less translation from his poetry in Urdu).

This poetry shows how Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnat is a great Ashiq-e-Rasool / Lover of the Noble Prophet (Sallalahualayhiwasallam) and how he looked up to the Prophet (Sallalahu alayhi wasallam) in his time of need and help.

******---Origin of Dawat-e-Islami---******

Dawat-e-Islami began under the auspices of Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnat, Abu Bilal Allama Moulana Muhammad Ilyas ATTAR Qadiri (may his shadow remain upon us) in 1980 in Karachi. His sincere, tireless and determined efforts for preaching and practicing Sunnah have guided millions of sinful people (Male&Female) to the path of piety and righteousness. And thus, by the grace of Allah (Almighty), this movement has now spread in over 66 countries amongst them are countries such as USA, UK, Hong Kong, China, South Africa, Spain, Greece, and many more.

******---What Is Dawat-e-Islami---******

Dawat-e-Islami is a Non-Political, Purely Religious, International Propagational Movement of the Holy Quran & Sunnah. Its principle aim is to preach and guide Muslims to act upon the teachings of the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (Sallalahu alayhi wasallam) and to fill the hearts of the Muslims with the love of The Holy Prophet (Sallalahu alayhi wasallam).

Nevertheless, Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnat, Founder-e-Dawat-e-Islami, Mahiay-e-Sunnat, Aashiq-e-Aa'la Hazrat, Abu Bilal, Hazrat-e-Allama Moulana Muhammad Ilyas ATTAR Qadiri (Damat barkaatuhu Mul Aalya) has given each Muslim a unique and beautiful purpose of his life, which should be the real purpose of anyone's life, and that is:
'I must try to rectify myself and the people of the whole world' InshaAllah (Azzawajal)

In order to achieve this Madani Mission, Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnat (Damat barkaatuhu Mul Aalya) has given us all very important and beautiful Madani Flowers/(Phool).

Therefore, he says to try and rectify ourselves we have to act upon the Madani In'aamaat, and for the rectification of the whole world we have to travel with the Madani Qafillaay (These are only for the Islamic Brothers, but Islamic Sisters should send their brothers and males at home)Insha Allah

This is the life-time Madani Mission of each & every Islamic brother and Islamic sister who is attached with Dawat-e-Islami.

******---Why Dawat-e-Islami?---******

One wonders that when there are so many other Islamic Movements, then why to talk about Dawat-e-Islami!?.......... Dawat-e-islami does not criticise the others! It has a International Madani Mission, people are connected to this Movement and extremely are dedicated to their religion.
Dawat-e-Islami does not look at a persons race, colour, nationality, status or disabilities (everyone is welcome).
It embraces all 4 schools of thought Hanafi, Hanmbali, Shafi'i and Malaki. In addition, all Tariqah's are excepted such as Qadariyyah, Chistiyya, Naqshabandiyya, Soherwardiyya, Shahziliyyah etc.
